Wet ground is one of the main reasons landowners look at aerial application, since the plane never touches the field. Call (256) 590-3869 and tell us how soft the field is.
It is. Counties are added as landowners ask, so call and tell us about your tract.
Jackson County sits on the Coastal Prairies along U.S. Highway 59, with Edna as its seat and largest town. It was one of the original counties of Texas, formed in 1836, and it borders both Lavaca Bay and Carancahua Bay. Between 41 and 50 percent of the land is classed as prime farmland, and average rainfall runs about 40 inches a year.[1]
Fields near the bays and creeks can stay soft after a heavy rain. Aerial application does not depend on dry ground, so it can help a landowner keep to a schedule.

The 2020 Census counted 14,988 residents in Jackson County, which has Edna, Ganado and La Ward as its incorporated cities.[2]
The 2022 Census of Agriculture listed 825 farms on 353,038 acres, including about 116,170 acres of cropland and 191,914 acres of pastureland.[3]
