Aerial application in Calhoun County, Texas
Calhoun County is flat Gulf Coast land with as much water as ground, and aerial application is one way to cover ground that is hard to cross.

Flat ground and a lot of water
Calhoun County lies on the Gulf Coast between Houston and Corpus Christi, and Port Lavaca is its county seat. It was formed on April 4, 1846, and its terrain is flat, rising to only about 50 feet above sea level. The Guadalupe River and Chocolate Bayou drain the county, and Green Lake lies within it.[1]
Water makes up about half of the county's total area, and wet low ground can be hard to cross with ground equipment. Work from the air avoids those obstacles.
